To be eligible, you must be able to answer ”Yes“ to the prompts listed below. Please note that the
Provincetown Performing Arts Fund will make final eligibility determinations as needed

 

  • I am a practicing performance artist able to demonstrate a sustained commitment to my work,

  •   career, and a public audience;

  • I work on the production side, providing valuable support to performance artists and able to

  •   demonstrate commitment to the arts.

  • I am experiencing dire financial emergencies due to the COVID-19 pandemic;

  • I am a full time resident of Provincetown, OR I have worked with the performing arts in

  •   Provincetown for 3 full season

  • I am18 years of age or older

  • I can provide documentation I can provide a Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual

  •   Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) after I’ve been notified of my selection;

  • I have been living and working in the U.S. for the last two years;

  • I am not a full-time employee, board member, director, officer, or immediate family member

  •   of any of the coalition partners; I have not previously been awarded a relief grant from this fund

Funding and Support

 

  • Payments of up to $1,000 will be made to qualified applicants.

  • An applicant may apply and receive funding more than once, but no more than one time per calendar year. 

  • Funds will be distributed starting end of September 2020 until funding runs out.

  • Applications are reviewed weekly.

  • Applicants will be notified of status within 10 business days. 

 

Documents needed

 

  • Proof of applicant’s primary residence in Provincetown (ex. tax/utility bill, car registration)

  • One (1) jpg image, video or audio file of your work

  • Brief artist statement, including its connection to broader community
